^{Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming project Sridevi might have landed in a slew of controversies by now and have faced wrath from a spate of people including women and child organizations so far, but here’s the interesting and “unknown” scoop about the film.}

^{Most of us dont about the original fact behind the poonam’s walk away from the project and the director has changed the Heroine as the initial choice was poonam kaur. Poonam who acted in the movies like Vinayakudu, Nagavalli, Aadu Magadra Bujji has been offered to play the lead role in this movie. Director already shot 2 days of movie with poonam but after the moment she realized that a 10-year old boy was being paired up with her she immediately quit out of the project. Initially Varma had convinced Poonam claiming that the movie is about a 17-yr-old teen fantasizing about an older woman. But Poonam got shock when Varma had cast a 10-yr-odd boy. Director has filled the Poonam’s place with newcomer Anushkriti.}

^{The film also suffered a major change. Initially Varma had christened the film as “Savitri” and even released the posters of the film. After coming to know that the name was already registered for another film, Varma had to change it as Sridevi. Although this title too received severe opposition from actress Sridevi and her husband Boney Kapoor, Varma is in no mood to give up this time. Once there was a time where even star heroines would ran after RGV leaving many other projects,but now even small heroines like Poonam are walking away from his projects its a big insult for RGV and his fans ,after knowing this facts his Fans are unable to digest this.
